You ll soon see a shine come up on the tiles and that may be enough to get them looking good again. Ammonia is very good for making tile floors shinny and bright. Wipe the cleaner away with a moistened piece of paper towel and polish the tiles with a dry microfibre cloth until they sparkle.

Use a sponge mop to apply the hot cleaning solution to the ceramic tile in liberal amounts. Soak a mop in the ammonia solution and squeeze out the excess water. Dip the mop into the club soda and mop the whole floor. Vinegar is a cleaning agent and not a shining agent.

Allow the hot cleaning solution to stand on the tile for 20 minutes.
