In the first stage the floor tile itself is taken up simply cut or chiseled from the floor.
Start at the chalk line intersection in the center of the floor and select a trowel with notches that matches the notch size indicated on the glue container.
Begin at a corner and lift slowly until you have it loose from the floor.
Step 3 apply new adhesive to the floor.
Proceed to tile the floor as you normally would.
Following the instruction on the adhesive container spread glue on the place on the floor where you ll be gluing the tile.
Spread a bed of strong adhesive such as portland cement or the adhesive recommended by the new tile manufacturer over the existing tiles.
