Set your laser level according to the height of the base cabinets.
Using the outline you created on the wall measure the distance from the cabinet edge to the stud and transfer this to the cabinet.
Draw a horizontal line across the wall at this 54 inch point which will serve as a guide for hanging the cabinets.
